Jointly organized by KPMG Singapore and The Business Times and sponsored by OCBC Bank, The E50 Awards recognizes the 50 most enterprising companies that have made significant contributions to the economic development of Singapore.

Quoting from an interview, Mr. David Ngoh, CEO of RMA Contracts elaborates that: “The award is both a great honor as well as a testimony to RMA’s vision of sustainable growth through meaningful engagement with the community, our clients, employees as well as our partners and shareholders.” He further pledges to enhance RMA’s strength and to make an entrance into the regional markets, as well as to expand RMA’s vision of sustainable growth to include best practices for an environmentally sustainable society.

Ensuring Sustainable Growth

During the E50 Awards gala dinner, the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat gave an encouraging speech that highlights the vast opportunities that Singapore could build on in spite of the global slowdown with technology in particular. He also added that as companies innovate with technology, Singapore could work to harness new opportunities overseas, particularly in Asia and the Southeast Asian region.

Therefore, in addition to DPM’s call for Singapore companies to invest in new prospects, RMA takes a step further by converging on sustainable economic growth in both local and regional expansions through new marketing and revenue streams in new sectors. This move is achieved by RMA’s recently secured strategic partnerships across Asia and the Pacific and by venturing new opportunities globally by acquisitions of the soon-to-be offices in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
