Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager, Fixed Assets
Job Location: Biopolis, Singapore
Job Type: Contract - 1+1 year contract with option to renew the contract on annual basis, i.e. a 2-year contract.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
• Assist the Manager, Fixed Assets, in overseeing the Fixed Asset Operation, including reviewing the accounting entries, month-end reports, printing of assets tag, preparing the accounting schedules.
• Review, standardize, and streamline Fixed Asset capitalization processes to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct asset verification exercises (AVE) and implement process controls for accurate and timely recording and maintenance of Fixed Assets.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Fixed Asset policies and procedures.
• Engage with Research Institutes to enhance their understanding of Fixed Asset processes.
• Generate management reports on Fixed Assets, addressing ad-hoc queries.
• Handle audit queries related to Fixed Assets and ensure all audit-related activities are conducted in accordance with established standards.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in Fixed Asset Management and within a shared service environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for effective team management and stakeholder interaction.
• Meticulous with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Self-driven and independent, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of the SAP system will be advantageous.
