Job Description
Job Title: Solution Architect (AWS HOSTING)
Job Type: Contract – 3 Years
Job Location: Maxwell Road, Singapore

Job Description:
• Work with the project managers, appointed application contractors, appointed infrastructure facilities contractor and AWS hosting provider to plan and establish the hosting requirements for Client systems to be hosted in the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) hosting facilities in AWS;
• Ensure the detailed end-to-end system architecture design and development is aligned with the Government’s Application Architecture Security and Infrastructure Security policies;
• Design the architecture blueprint for the hosting of application systems in the GCC(AWS) hosting environment;
• Define the strategy and principles for hosting in GCC;
• Establish and update the security policy for the GCC hosting to ensure compliance with the Government’s Application Architecture Security and Infrastructure Security policies;
• Propose security products and solutions for compliance with the Government’s security policies and standards in GCC; and
• Use, govern and enhance the architecture blueprint to ensure that the business and ICT are in alignment;
Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
• Tertiary education in relevant fields;
• Certification in AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Certification in AWS Solution Architect will be an added advantage
• Certification in Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) will be an added advantage;
• Any other relevant professional certifications.

Skill Set and Experience:
• At least three years of comprehensive experience designing, operating and troubleshooting solutions on the AWS Cloud;
• Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles;
• Past track record as a tech lead and system architect (e.g. system design, performance tuning, and system prototyping & maintenance);
• Good technical skills and the ability to leverage them to determine the best solution to a technical problem;
• Ability to analyse and identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional implications while developing a workable solution;
• Results and customer-oriented;
• Team player with organization and people handling skills; and
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders
• Past track records in designing and implementing .Net and SharePoint applications will be an added advantage;
• Understanding of server-side .Net, Service Oriented Architectures, web services and public websites / e-services development will be an added advantage;
• Knowledge of Singapore Government procurement and ICT governance processes will be an added advantage;
• Knowledge of the Government IM8 policies will be an added advantage; and
• Any other relevant working experiences.
